Kerala MCA Entrance Examinations KEE 2009

Applications are invited for the Entrance Examination for admission to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Course in Kerala in the AICTE approved institutions for the academic
year 2009-10.
Eligibility criteria
Nativity: Candidate should be an Indian citizen.
Academic: A pass in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level OR a pass in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects.
Candidates who are appearing / have appeared for the qualifying examination this year are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination subject to the condition that the entire mark list of the qualifying examination shall be produced by the candidate at the time of admission.
Important dates:
1. 23 August 2009 – date of examination
2. 30 July 2009 — Last date for receipt of filled in application forms
Entrance Examination:

The Entrance Examination will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode on 23.08.2009 (Sunday).
It will be of 2 hours duration and will consist of 150 Objective Type Questions covering the following areas of study at graduate level.
(a) Mathematics (b) Statistics (c) Physics (d) Chemistry
(e) General Knowledge(f) General English and
g) Fundamentals of Computer Awareness

Candidates can apply in the online application form provided in the web site www.cee-kerala.org of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and then remit the required fee at any SBT branch by using the chalan available in the print out of the online application form, candidates residing outside Kerala state can remit the application fee by way of demand draft drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of the Commissioner for entrance examinations payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Application fee for General/SEBC candidates Rs.800/- and for SC/ST candidates Rs.400/-.Application fee once remitted will not be refunded at any circumstances.

The activities related to the allotment to Professional Degree Courses for the year 2009-10 commenced on 07.07.2009 (Tuesday) evening. Candidates included under various rank lists can register their options on the Website www.cee.kerala.gov.in/keam till 1 pm on 14.07.2009. Candidates who do not register their options will not be considered for allotment under any circumstances. The “Option Facilitation Centres” [OFC] and “Help Desks” [HD], having internet facility, will be functioning through out the State during this period for registration of options by the candidates. The lists of OFC's and HD's are given below.
